This project is a division of Animate Lot (anim-l), a transdisciplinary design practice bringing together art, architecture, and technology. Our design research is committed to hacking typologies, mischievous blending, formal inquiry and reorienting the perceptions of the city.
Co-Founder, Allen Ghaida
Allen is an (RA) exam candidate currently working on design, development, technical detailing, on-site inspection under the supervision of licensed engineers and project management. Holding a Bachelors from the New School of Architecture and a masters of Advanced Design from Columbia University, Allen engages all multidisciplinary experts from all phases for a successful project completion. Allen dedicates his time to explore new spatial design methodologies as his research.
Co-Founder, Joseph Ghaida
Joseph is an (RA) exam candidate currently working on design, development, computational design and programming for Area OS. He has a bachelors of architecture from The Pratt Institute with an emphasis on algorthmic design and advanced methods. Joseph's knowledge in parametric design, computational design, advanced delivery production and design codes proves valuable for assisting in fabrication, processing, and advanced assemblies. On the off hours, Joseph is a die hard python enthusiast and JavaScript writer.
